their own terms, including the Limine bootloader, Flanterm, BearSSL, stb_image
and stb_truetype, the DOOM engine (via doomgeneric), the NetSurf web browser and
the NetSurf project libraries (libcss, libdom, libhubbub, libparserutils,
libwapcaplet, libnsutils, libnslog, libnspsl, libnsgif, libnsbmp), utf8proc,
zlib, the Tiny C Compiler, Lua, the GNU Compiler Collection (GCC), GNU Binutils,
the Flat Remix icon theme, the bundled fonts, the Mozilla CA certificate bundle,
Intel Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (iwlwifi) firmware, and the default wallpaper
photograph. GCC and GNU Binutils are
included as the native MontaukOS SDK toolchain (GCC 14.2.0 and Binutils 2.43.1)
under the GNU GPLv3, with the GCC Runtime Library Exception where applicable.

3. stb_image and stb_truetype (image decoding and font rasterisation)

Used as the single-header image decoder behind MontaukOS image/JPEG support
(programs/include/gui/stb_image.h). This is the "libjpeg" component referenced in
the build; it is in fact stb_image by Sean Barrett.
stb_truetype, by the same author, is the TrueType rasteriser linked into the
graphical applications and into the NetSurf browser port, where it renders the
system fonts.

12. Mozilla CA certificate bundle

Shipped as the system trust store on the ISO
(0:/os/certs/ca-certificates.crt), used by the MontaukOS TLS stack to verify
server certificates.
The bundle contains the root CA certificates of the Mozilla CA Certificate
Program (Mozilla's root store, maintained as certdata.txt in Mozilla NSS), in
the concatenated PEM form produced by the Debian/Ubuntu ca-certificates
package. The certificates themselves are public key material published by
their respective certification authorities for exactly this purpose; the
Mozilla root store from which the bundle derives is distributed under the
Mozilla Public License, version 2.0 (MPL-2.0).

The MontaukOS SDK includes native ports of GCC 14.2.0 and GNU Binutils 2.43.1
at 0:/sdk/. The GCC tools include gcc, g++, cpp, cc1, and cc1plus. The Binutils

strings, addr2line, c++filt, and elfedit. These are modified builds targeting
MontaukOS; the corresponding patches and build scripts are in the toolchain/

Shipped as the bundled "netsurf" application (0:/apps/netsurf/netsurf.elf), built
from NetSurf 3.11 (git 39da3c3a4). The MontaukOS build reuses NetSurf's monkey
frontend glue with a native MontaukOS window frontend, replaces the libcurl and
OpenSSL fetchers with a BearSSL-backed one, and builds without JavaScript. The
port's patches, compatibility shims, and frontend sources are in the mtkports
tree under www-client/netsurf/.
The resource tree installed at 0:/apps/netsurf/res/ (Messages, default.css,
quirks.css, and the bundled artwork) is part of NetSurf and is covered by this
notice.
